A home of thoroughbred excellence
Hesmonds Stud is 700 acres of glorious established grassland that nestles at the foot of the South Downs. It was purchased by Nurlan Bizakov at the end of 2010. Since then it has undergone a major transformation with the intention of turning it into a world class stud.
The facilities have been enhanced to include over 14 miles of new fencing, two new American Barns each housing 25 yearlings and weanlings, a 12 box yard built for horses out of training and the Main Yard refurbished to house 30 mares with 7 state of the art foaling boxes and a purpose built vet room.
Hesmonds rich history was started by Mr Peter Goulandris 40 years ago with the likes of Terimon, Claxon and Infamy being bred here. Since Nurlan Bizakov's first mares arrived at the farm in December 2010 the broodmare band has risen to 35 with the emphasis on quality bloodlines from some of the best families in The Stud Book.
